I ordered a pair of klipsch f-30 speakers after liking the way they sounded in the store. Now I need a receiver to go along with them. Probably looking for on with 5 hdmi, and 3d capability. Looking to keep the price around $400. Any and all info is welcome, help steer me to a good group to pick from.

Any other receivers i should look at? And why would Yamaha be a better choice over other brands?

Yamaha is known for good reliability, a simple and solid software, no bugs and good sound. Best hdmi compatibility and a good manual parametric eq on all main channels. Good deals can be found without calling a salesperson. Full preamp out at lowest price. The auto room correction falls somewhere between audyssey xt and xt32.

That receiver looks like a winner to me. But then again i'm new to all of this stuff. would love to have more input from other members.

Yea where is everybody? They know this deal is hard to beat? Here is some more stuff to check out.

The model 575 is about 3 models below the 775. Still got picked as one of the best at audioholics.

The flagship pre/pro A5000 got product of 2013 at same site.

Yup. The Denon X2000 uses the much more advanced speaker/sub EQ Audyssey MultEQ XT as well as being a 7CH or 5.1/Zone 2 networking model with Pandora and Spotify and Airplay. It also comes with a 3 year warranty vice only 2 years on the non "Aventage" Yamaha models (eg. V775).

I heard nothing but good things about Yamaha and Denon . Every brand has its problems, i just want the one that has the least problems and is more first time user friendly.

So I went ahead and orders the 775wa at the sale price on new egg. Should of had it on Wednesday but the shipping company lost it. Have to wait for the claim process to finish before they ship me another one. So I have 2 kilpsch f-30's a c-20 center channel and two dayton 1200 subs just siting here looking at me.

My receiver arrived in the mail today. Now all i have to do is find some time to set everything up.

So I found the time to set up my 775, and IT WAS EASY. Haven't run the calibration yet but it makes everthing so simple to hook up and control. Including building my diy blackout cloth projection screen, mounting it, running and hooking up speaker wire, and drinking a few beers i finished it all in under two hours. I'll take some time to get into more of it later in the week.

Equipment- Klipsch synergy f30 l/r, synergy c-20 center, 2 dayton 1200 subs, benq w1080st, and a slim ps3.
