The wonderful watermelon surf

1 cups seedless watermelon chunks
1 cup trimmed strawberries, cut in half
½ cup coconut cream
1 to 2 shots spiced rum
Mini watermelon wedges for garnish
½ cup sweetened whipped topping

Blend watermelon, strawberries, coconut cream and rum just until smooth
Place in freezer for one hour, stirring occasionally
Pour into in chilled glass
Garnish with mini watermelon wedges and whipped topping
Serve immediately

Seeing as how us drinkers aren't exactly motivated while intoxicated, anyone care to fill me in on what I missed between the first and last pages of this thread?

After experimenting with this recipe, I've concluded it needs to be altered a bit. It's too sweet for me. So I've increased the watermelon quotient, kicked up a bit more Captain and blended in ice cubes before putting it in the freezer to chill. I've found this makes a much more (for me) pleasing summertime cocktail.

Hey guys, I have been super busy, ended up getting a used pool on my vacation, tearing it down, moving it and installing it. Here she is --->

Nothing fancy, Jacuzzi 21' 54" deep. Good deal, even has a heater. Now I just need to install the outside display near the pool with a wireless mouse & keyboard so I can float, booze & cruise the AVS while in the pool. I have something in the works.

Anyone else have a pool?

My other hobby other than HT, (newly found hobby "Cabana Boy" as my wife likes to call me since the pool) is firearms. Here is one of my favorite photos that I use to protect my HT gear -->

My new found friend "Mike's Harder" is a great drink in the pool. It has some kick to it.

So how is everyone? I am digging all the cocktail photos in the previous posts. I'll be boozen around 2 or so, starting with my old friend "Monster/Vodka" and then heading over to the 32oz diet Coke & vodka.

I will leave you with this, me preping to install the pool. I did the whole thing myself except the wife lended a hand when I needed two sets. Digging out the turf manually was a ball buster (ended up renting a sod kicker), especially since the ground was dry. It was all worth it, it has been a hot one but I am enjoying it every day. Off to the pool, there is a hot chick in a bikini waiting for me....

Kipp, you need some sun on those legs bro! I am getting ready to purchase an AR-15 and a glock...what cal of glock? Tapped a new keg of ML yesterday, up to temp tonight! No pics of the chick in the bikini...didn't happen.

Great job on the pool Kipp!
I haven't seen Mike's Harder around here but I used to upgrade regular to high octane by pouring over ice
and topping it up with an extra shot (or two) of Grey Goose
Sadly, I've been on the wagon (since Aug.1st) and started hitting the weight room again.
1 month early this year (I usually go hardcore Sept-Christmas) Booze it up over the holidays,
then on the wagon again Jan-April.... But from May to September is one big freakin cocktail hour for me.

I wish our gun laws were a little less strick up here,
My bro has a Desert Eagle but it's always under lock&key and he only has a permit to transport it to/from the local range.

I've had several hunting rifles in the past,
but for now my favorite is the Barret 50 cal ...on COD MW
I do have a 9mm replica BB-pistol with a laser sight to keep the wild jack rabbits from eating my lawn at night Funny S#it right there!
not enough ft/sec to kill em, but it does put quite a sting on thier arse Hahaha.

Kipp, It's the first time I see Mike's harder lemonade. Haven't seen it around here either. Is it just a stronger Mike's or something completely different?
Mike's Hard = 5%
Mike's Harder = 8% (but not available in Canada...yet)
...even though the brand Originated in Vancouver B.C.

This is a good alternative for JD fans (like me)

Yes, this is the:
"I'm not able to live like Rastergate, but I've still got some fun toys to keep me entertained while
I get a good buzz on and daydream of being young, wealthy and surrounded by hot party girls" thread.

I gotta stop coming back to this thread,
I'm really craving a Jack poured over a big 2" ice ball now.
...That picture really is like a magazine add with hidden subliminal "Drink Me" messages calling out too me...

BTW Vespaguy, whatcha got in there? Drambuie?
looks a little too dark for Scotch...unless its the really Good Stuff

Nah, I'm not much of a Scotch drinker. It's some good ol' Southern Comfort.

Yeah, the dew only comes into play after a few with coke, I run out of coke, I can't (I mean it wouldn't be responsible to) drive to the store for more, and my kid can't be bribed to go pick some up.

Can't go wrong there...until you start rinsing and repeating like me...

2/3 rum
1/3 coke

But hey, nobody ever picks up my drink and mistakes it for their own.

I have been growing a Ghost Pepper plant this summer. It is a very difficult plant to get growing. I went through 6 plants before this one took. I planted this back in May. As you can see I finally have some peppers growing. Once these turn red, I am good to go. This pepper is also known as the bhut jolokia.

Bhut Jolokia also known as Naga Jolokia, Ghost Pepper, or Ghost Chili Pepper, is the hottest chile pepper in the world.
  1. - entered the Guiness Book of Records in 2007
  2. - is over 1,000,000 Scoville units
  3. - grown in the northeastern region of India in Assam.
  4. - the previous hottest chile pepper was the Red Savina Habanero pepper with a Scoville rating of 350,000 - 575,000.
  5. - the Ghost Chili or Bhut Jolokia is 2 - 3 times as hot as the Red Savina Habanero pepper. In comparison, a jalapeno pepper is between 2,500 - 8,000 Scoville units and an orange Habanero is around 150,000 - 325,000 Scoville units.

But why? LOL....I got a batch of very hot jalepenos from the neighbor that when I was seeding them, my wife and I were coughing so bad it ran us out of the kitchen...toxic and I like hot......
