Randy,
Since you like hot, I will mail you a pepper if you like. I hear you or better feel you on seeding a jalapeno, this pepper is much much hotter. Check out the videos on youtube of people eating these.

I am growing habaneros too. This is my first time growing both the habs and ghost peppers so I am thinking of making a sauce for each. How about you???

I use the Mr. Beer kit to make beer at home. Chili beer is a great idea. I may have to try that....

Oh no not a Mr Beer, I make beer from grain. Just did 15 gallons today. Maybe I should drop a chili pepper into 5 gallons and see what happens

Have you eaten any of these yet? I have! They have a great flavor (smoky-sweet) once you get past the heat (or before the heat kicks in). Don't get me wrong, I do eat them, at least the flakes, all the time, but depending on what you use them in the heat starts slow or even non-existant and then builds over time. Sometimes you eat them and you don't notice really any heat nor mouth burn but eventually you notice you are drinking more/faster then usual. And then you stomach feels wierd. It can be like having a nova go off in your stomach! They can be nasty, especially if you are intoxicated when you eat them and don't notice the amount you consume! If you do overeat them, the next day can be like having a bad case of the 'roids, only difference is no itching.

It burns, Master, it burns!

I can't believe I posted in this thread many months ago after having never found it before, then forgot about it again. Late to the party, but yes....I'm boozing.

Rum & diet tonight. How is everyone? Getting ready to close the pool this weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to be 89 then 60's next week. When the cool weather arrives, I like to drink red wines in particular cab/merlot blends. Anyone else like red wines in the cool/cold weather? The ghost peppers are almost ripe. Whoohoo!!!

Got the laptop out back with a cigar and much bourbon....surfing various forums and getting hammered in the process. Life is good.

The Captain and I are setting sail at Sunset on the Suzanne...

No promises, but I'm pretty sure my ass has been thoroughly kicked by the bourbon tonight. Time to hit Amazon up for some cool stuff that I have no need for...

Late to the party, about a month ago one of my staff gave me a bag of Ghost peppers he grew. Just to do it, my son ,who also loves hot food, and I sliced one in half and ate it .

It had essentially no favor just rediculously hot ! It took about half an hour to clear it from my mouth. This was also the first time I'd ever gotten indigestion from hot food.

Don't say anything about how fuccking stupid this was or anything thank you.

Nice. I'm celebrating having the house to myself with some rum and various foods that require very little effort to eat.

Haha. I love it when I get the house to myself...it's all too rare.

Mmm, rum. I just bought a jug o' Bacardi tonight. I do believe it's Bacardi/diet time. Oh yeah.
