cool, I was not the only one that started early this morning. Went to visit my Grandparents this morning and it would be an insult not to have a few shots of the home made hard stuffs when you enter the house and home made wine with lunch. Somehow time just flies when you are there

Egad... did my head hurt this morning.

Two margharitas(green ones) and then 6 green beers. The really scary part is that what goes in green, comes out green too...

Ahh feels good to be back in the drunk forum. The wife is gone and the beers are flowing. The music is loud and the PB10 is beggin for me to push him harder!!!!!!! Poor little guy..........I wonder what Kipp Jones is up to?????

I agree! Where is the love?? After all there is French bread, French fries, Frenches mustard....lol, j/k...EVen those Irish bashers..be thankful for those whom created excellent drinks for all those to drink Irish or not....

So I'm coming down with a cold. The question is, do I:

a) take cold medicine to alleviate symptoms, get sleepy and not drink?

or

b) drink, not take cold medicine, but not be as bothered by the cold?

I say pop the pills hit the bottle and be happy. Also why does it seem the music always sounds like "YA MAN KICK ASS". When you been bozzin??????????????????

I'll try the usual RotG and soda first to see if it has any perceived effect on the throat swelling.

Just finished #1. Still feel the throat, slight fever and the yuck forming in my chest.

It's mostly Rite-Aid, Walgreens (and a few Longs Drugstores) now where I'm at (used to be mosty Payless/Thrifty/Andersons).

Last time I was in Vancouver BC, I went into what I thought was an Army/Navy surplus store (can't remember the name now) and it turned out to be a drugstore also.

What's kind of funny is that the Fry's (computers and A/V equipment store) here also has a beauty/health/OTC drug section in it (but no pharmacy).

Well, ya lucked out 'cause there's (I think) three of us (two known to be married) on this particular thread!

There's actually a few of us scattered around the forum - but some of the women use gender-neutral names so you wouldn't actually know if they are female or not.

Got my resupply of limes and last night had 2 T&T and they floored me. Since my wife makes my drinks for me, I can generally tell when she thinks I'm in a crappy mood by how much Gin she puts in my drink. If 2 drinks (granted they're big 20 oz. with lots of tonic - so I can drink them like soda or beer) floored me, that means that today I have to be very attentive to her.

Oh, no! I hope you don't get what I have had - One week of suffering - Including the dreaded fever and a cough that won't stop! I am looking forward to my first post-illness margarita (Fat Mama's Knock you Naked!!)

I'm on my 4th series of antibiotic - Walking Pneumonia is all over the place (Whooping Cough is also seeing a surge this year) I had about 4 or 5 days of feeling crappy with a cough and about 3 weeks with just a cough (gradually decreasing chest congestion) - just about 100% now.

We're headed out with a picnic lunch and a few bottles of wine, to go to the Bayou City Art Festival. The wine is the only way I can get through the booth after booth of the same stuff... for the most part.

Of course, the wine also makes me more agreeable to my wife's purchases as we walk along through the festival.

Right now I'm feeling a little better than yesterday, not sure how long that's gonna last though. I hope you feel better soon too, Kipp.

CPanther95- that sounds nasty- hopefully the antibiotics will knock it out soon. Sometimes I've had to switch to different ones for respiratory infections as the original just wasn't doing it.

I like Tequila, beer and vodka. At home mostly beer, but at home when I feel like going mixed drink, I have a TGV with 7-up= Tequila, gin, vodka
