Dead lifts. Nice! I keep meaning to incorporate those back in to my routine but I lift at lunch and would have to drop something else off. My lower back could sure use them though.

My prescription for your rib.

Ha ha! Great post!

As it turns out the liquor store had the big bottles of Stolly's on sale... check... smaller bottle of Kahlua on sale... check, but I only have enough 1/2 & 1/2 for tomorrow morning's coffee (which I predict I'm gonna need), so tonight I'm using some Baileys Irish cream instead. I'm rewarding myself as I took my TV apart today and cleaned the Light Engine lenses. I was hesitant about doing this, but a very good thread started by videobruce guided me to amazing results.

TBL via VUDU is queued up for tomorrow night, and the "Caucasions" will be flowing. Fun times ahead!

Hope you're ok, G.

Am I the only one watching this hurricane and thinking about the "Fu*king Irene!" scene from Blackhawk Down?

SO...

Long holiday weekend coming up, and mine starts tomorrow. Who's drinking what? I haven't decided yet on either beer, bourbon, more caucasions, both, none of the above or what.

Decisions decisions...

The wife and I are going to head out for a short road trip over the long weekend, and while I don't yet know what we'll be drinking, I know there will be a lot of it.

Good plan. Enjoy your trip. Stay safe.

^ Thanks, Rich, and we're back. Brought back some fresh atlantic king salmon and tuna to cook tonight. Along with various versions of alcoholic beverages.

Man, where has everyone been? Am I really the only one drinking on a Saturday night?? Haha.

Anyway, enjoying a rum and diet coke and watching old episodes of prison break. Having a great night!
^ Doing the same my friend, but without the coke. You're right, though....been slow around here lately.

Too easy. A Harvey Wallbanger. Remember, you're dealing with professionals here. Will you and Mr. Wallbanger be enjoying each others company this evening? Perhaps over the new Star Wars set?

Wabo, wasn't that you with the Omega?
Cheers to my old friend the Captain!

Yes but, Stephen didn't know the answer and I'm betting it's because he's too young. It was a popular drink back in the 50's.

I'm undecided right now. The weekend started with somma this...

on the rocks, and has progressed to that and coke. Bad though because RR is very expensive and shouldn't be diluted with soda, but I just haven't been able to get that combo out of my system over the years. The Texas night is young though so...

I don't know what to do about that yet. I'm a huge LOTR fan, and I really want to buy the Extended version but it's very expensive for me, and I've kinda fallen victim to all that ranting about it over in the Blu-ray Software thread.

Audixium, the bar was stocked with The Captain a couple of weeks ago, but he has since jumped ship. The girls didn't show up (would've probably passed me by as if I didn't exist anyway) though.

Harvey Wallbangers were still popular in the 1970s, even into the 1980s.

For my Minnesotan friends to the south, I've recently returned from your burgs and brought home some of this:

Surly Hell
Surly Cynic
Surly Bitter

Not sure why, but the names ring true to me. Maybe cuz I work for the gubmint.

I believe you called it from just the clasp in a cell phone pic.

Yeah, that sb1 is still just a pup.

Ya can't go wrong with the bourbon. Drink it how you wanna, son.

I still haven't bought the LOTR EE set either. Not sure if I ever will. I suppose if Amazon has a sweet Black Friday deal I'll bite. As for the Star Wars set, I bought the UK version (I like the packaging better) and I'm waiting for it to make the jump across the pond. I wish Chewie had fixed the hyper-drive.
