Tweakophyte, Kipp, Scott, Ron,

It was nice meeting all you guys! Had a great time at the AVS Meet-n-Greet!! It was quite the spread. I think right now I've STILL got more alcohol in my blood stream than blood.

Thanks to David and guys for throwing party!!
Yes the party great. Except we all needed name tags. The only person I knew was Kid Rock Pam and some guy with a hat. LOL I love Denver. Can't wait till next year!!!!!!

Hey Sean,
Pleasure meeting you. It was a great time, too bad no name tags. Did I miss them at the door???
Nope, there was no name tags. The idea was brought up to David, but he said it was a logistical nightmare to get name tags out to everyone as they came in, and that we were more than welcome to create our own and wear them.

I thought that was a weak excuse from David when we asked him that... David, put them out on a table and let us self-serve. Besides, think about all the advertising you'd get when the drunk people leave the party and keep their name tags on.

...you'd get half the people from the Shotgun Willie's joining the forum.

Same here but I saw you at the AVS party so I must have been there ! Just kidding I think you meant SVS party. I just had no way to go. We went back to Fort Collins at 3:30PM Saturday . Angela's father had four of our children !

Here is my proof of attendence at the AVS party:

Drank too much Fat Tire.

PM's still work fine. I might (maybe, fingers crossed) have fixed or at least gotten around it for now. I'll find out in about half an hour or less.

(edit) Yay! I think it's fixed.

Art,
Sorry, I was PWI (posting while intoxicated). You are correct, I meant the SVS party. I knew you were having a good time at the AVS party, but I did not realize how good!!!

While at the SVS party, I decided to upgrade my PB2+ drivers. They should be here tomorrow. I will let you know how they sound as soon as I install them. Have you considered the upgrade on your (4)??? Yeah that is right, Art has four SVS PB2+s.

Not really at least not recently. Mark Seaton should be coming along soon with an Infra Sub that will allow me serious bass extension down to 8Hz or so as an adjunct to mine. While here did you feel as though I needed better bass ?

Yes Art,
The bass in your HT is lacking, only my hair and shirt were moving and I felt like I was punched in the chest...:-^ Of course not!!! You have the best bass I have ever heard and felt!!! Almost pooped my pants!!!
Art, where are you in that picture?

Btw, I remember when your wife was taking that shot... somehow you milked it so it took like 10 minutes for the pics to be taken.

Well ,since it was Angela's idea it was OK. It did take me about 15 minutes to stop sweating though.

Ahhh, the dreaded "brown note"...Did you see the episode of Mythbusters when they tried to get that to work? Lets say they "crapped out".

My new SVS drivers arrived tonight. I brought them over to Scotts house for inspection. Well Inspector Scott gave the big thumbs up on the appearance. So off they be to the PB2+......

The driver upgrade?
'morning...

I've been drinking my coffee... and reading about RPTVs. Mits or Sammy.... 56732/831 or 5687/88.... or just say screwit and get a cheaper 720p RPTV or even a 50" plasma.

So far the Mits is winning. It will be a few hundred more, but I like the fact it just came out and no one has really had the time to post anything negative

You have another HT meet. Invite someone from SVS to do the upgrade, and a/b test it as each driver pair is installed.

I heard Scott will hanging out at the bar again....

Kipp-

How's the new driver treating you? I have some money squirreled away for the new Ultra when it comes out... after CES or so...

They are treating me well. I still can't get over the difference. Makes my cocktails that much more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I do not go to CES, I really enjoy CEDIA because it is not as crowded and the people at CEDIA are industry. Coffee, double cream with four Splendas this morning.
