Spray-on Expanding Foam Insulation  

I've read several posts about gluing drywall between the ceiling joists and even attaching sheets of lead to ductwork, but what about hiring an insulation contractor to spray expanding foam all over the underside of the floor and over the ductwork and everything before hanging rock on the ceiling? I would think this could be very effective, but...?
