I just bought a used Aurora with about 400 some-odd hours left on the lamp. I figured I should start looking for new lamps (or new projectors) now, since it's out of production.

Does anyone know if the bulb, as opposed to the entire lamp assembly, could be replaced? I know a guy whose father does T.V. repair, and has worked with Metal Halide bulbs before. I figured this would be the less-costly route. However, if it is not possible, does anyone know where I could find a lamp assembly for this unit?

Or, is it possible to use a lamp assembly from another projector? Projector Central didn't have any "similar" units to this one.

It uses a 250 watt metal halide bulb with a life of 2000 hours.

Thanks for all your help (in advance)!
