Just wondering if anyone out there has owned or has experience with the Kenwood KC-Z1? It was released about 6 years ago at $2800 and was revolutionary at the time with the LCD remote that docked in the front of the chassis to recharge and for normal use. It lacks DTS, but heard it is very good at DD and is the only preamp I know of that has the remote option such as the KC-Z1 and allows it to dock on the unit itself--very cool looking. They can be found at a very reasonable price of around $400--wondering if anyone has had problems or concerns with the unit.
