Stewart Eletricscreen Worth Keeping?  

I have an older Stewart Model A Electriscreen - 104" diagonal, high gain 2.0, 4:3 AR. I am planning to watch HDTV and widescreen movies using FP (thinking about the Sony 1270s or the Barco 800s) in a relatively small room (13"x12"), so the high gain and AR of the screen aren't really ideal. Is it worth keeping or should I just seel it and get something newer?

I called Stewart, and was told that sending the screen in for re-surfacing (or changing it to 16:9 AR) would cost more than $500 (this was a few years ago, so the price may be higher now) and he recommended that I just keep it the screen or order a new one! May be I can order the material and have someone locally to finish it, since the shipping charge is significant.
