Wow, you must be close to 150 miles away from KPMR.
This weekend I moved my south facing antenna higher to see if I could get a better signal on channels 8, 10 & 39(RF40) from San Diego. KPBS 15 & Fox 69 have always been stable, but the reception on the other 3 are intermittent, partially due to the co-channel interference from LA stations. I mounted the antenna on the wood siding about 20 ft high, just below my roofline. The roofline slopes down behind it & I have metal shingles which help block the co-channel interference. I thought I had found the sweet spot as the 3 problematic channels seemed to be stable. But, later they were breaking up again. Last night, all were stable again. The tropo conditions were higher than usual this weekend, so I'll check again later & may readjust the antenna height.
This is more of a hobby, as all the LA station come in strong for me. KPBS is the only SD sation that I watch much, as the other 4 usually have the same shows as the LA stations.
