Hello all,
Can anyone describe the approximate percentile of gray that would be beneficial to a "grey" screen. I am currently contacting several manufacturers and would like to be able to give a percentage of gray for testing purposes.
For example, would a typical LCD projector benefit from a 16% grey while a typical DLP benefit from a 21% grey?
Would it be better to produce in 5% increments and have samples shipped to the home owner to evaluate the differences before purchases?
BTW, this is not going to be a business venture of my own - I am simply suggesting the idea to several companies that have a better turnaround for us want-it-now kinda folks... Additionally, these are not screen manufacturers, they make other products, so for now, I doubt you'll see any form of gain or glass beading going around.
