Sony 1272Q RGB Problem

I have a Sony VPH 1272Q projector and did something stupid: I
connected the Y PB PR outs of a DVD player to the RGB inputs to see
what would happen. Well, now the RGB is unable to sync on the signal
from my computer or video game system. Does anyone know if I somehow
"toasted" the input or is there some way I can reset the RGB board so
it can work on a proper signal again? Any help would be appreciated!

turn on your rgb-hv source first, then turn on the projector, it should re sync.

be careful that you dont have the h and the v swapped out, its happened before!

you did not toast the input, everyone in the world has tried exactly what you did, but it only works with newer sony projectors (or a new input card).

I have tried that. I did actually get it to lock in once (off a Sega Dreamcast with a VGA box) Now, I can sometimes get a picture I can see, but it scrolls vertically, liek a TV with its vertical hold set incorrectly. I have also noticed that the hV frequency displayed on Page 4 of the menus keeps changing. I have no instructions for the iFB-11 card (or whatever it is) so i don't knwo fi there is anything I can do with the input card itself. Connecting a computer yields the same results, and hooking the Dreamcast to a monitor works fine, so i know it's not the VGA box or the cables.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!
