GreyHawk Exchange Program for AVS Members?

Hi ,

I was wondering if such a program will be extended to AVS forum members as well (if you own a Stewart screen less than 18 month old, you can exchange it for a GreyHawk screen by just paying for freight)...

This offer was made to members at TheBigPictureDVD.com forums. (I thought I was a member in good standing, but I can't seem to log in with mys usual user names!...:confused http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

I would greatly appreciate it, since I bought a studio Tech 130 a few months ago for installation in a new home but have not yet installed it due to delays in construction... http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif

This is for great Stewart Customers who are also TBP forum members only.
If you would like would like to upgrade your Stewart Screen Wall
(Deluxe snap frame & AT-1.5 frames only) with a GrayHawk screen we will be happy to make you a screen to fit your existing frame.

You must meet the following requirements.

A. Have been a member of this forum on or before Jan 10, 2001.
This is our way of thanking forum members.
B. The Stewart screen must be no older than 18 months.
C. Suppy us with the serial number and dealer the screen was purchased from. (We need it so that we can make you the new screen). Also we need your "ship to" address.
D. Do a maticulous job packing the old screen up and UPS back to the factory. (If your screen is in decent condidtion we might be able to use it in our demo stock)
E. You pay the UPS freight both ways.
F. You must email us with the info by January 16, 2001. NO EXCEPTIONs ON THIS DATE!!! You can private email us through this forum.

I myself have not even used my Studiotek 130 screen, yet (I won't install the screen for another month), and would be willing to exchange it for a GreyHawk without comparison, just based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback I have seen on this and other forums.
I'm still hoping a type of exchange/upgrade program will be offered to AVS forum members and/or Stewart customers, even if this thread does not appear to generate a lot of interest from Dila, DLP or LCD projector owners...
I'm not sure why... Surely there must be more than a handful of people on AVS in a similar situation... http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/confused.gif

I am in the process of screen shopping. I have narrowed it down to a 100 x 54 fixed frame, with a gain of somewhere around 1.5. If any of you decide to sell your screens to move to the Grayhawk, drop me an email. I am sure I will find my screen, so I wish you all good luck on the trade in situation.
