I am sure it would be possible to send a 12v single manually to the screen but that defeats the purpose. You bought the interface so that you would have remote control right? You are going to have to buy either a new processor, receiver, projector or send the interface back. It probably would be cheaper to just take it back to the dealer and continuing to use the manual switch because without a remote control device that outputs a 12v trigger it is just going in circles. Are you planning on upgrading any items in your system? Maybe now's the time to add dolby prologic II or dolby ex or something and get a 12v trigger in the deal.
Never become so involved with something that it blinds you.
