Mine works fine with all the locals. I have this one.http://www.digitalconnection.com/Pro...Video/myhd.asp
IT has two cable inputs and I have OTA on one and Cable on the other. It up converts to 1080P (on my pc monitor) if I want or down. It gets both Digital and Analog and Cable. It has alot of options and I can also run it to my TV if I like. I have made some good captions and with HDTVtoMPEG software I can edit out comercials and sub channels. (Get ya a big hard drive tho. heheh. I have a 250 gig hard drive and already I had to remove some stuff to make room for others.) I will be passing some TS to DVD soon when I get time. It also makes a good DVD player and it can up convert those DVD's if you have the crack but I did'nt notice much diffrence after being use to HD.
A guy in my office was asking about them today and we where looking at the ATI HDTV wonder card. IT's about half the price but have'nt had one to play with.
Just make sure you get one with a built in decoder card. You do not want to tax your CPU. They cost more but I think they are worth it.
Not sure about the newer model. and hmmm. was looking to get the ATI one in the future for other PC but now I'm not sure.
I really like MyHd card tho.
