I think Ken is doing some censoring himself

Looked good, but the 5.1 was messed up in Mpls.

Sorry Ken, I wasn't trying to make a political statement. I was just kidding around about Durst.
I'm sorry.

You must have some severe artifacting and edge enhancement on your set! Are you SURE you're getting it in HD?

Damn I'm getting a nasty hum during Robin Williams.

I must have pissed someone off up there, cause this is the worst HiPix recording I have Ever had:( Not one act without breakups, I know it is the wind that is blowing my Ant. back and forth like a big ass fly swatter. Then I had a Power outage for 2 min. and had to reboot, restarted the HiPix app. only to have it start to record over the start of the show !!! I have been.Waiting for this show for a month and look what I get. o`well I guess there`s next year.

Does anyone besides me (in Tampa) think that the live sound is weird. The canned intro music is OK, but the live stuff sounds poorly mixed on my system, and certain parts fade up and down. And now Robin Williams mike has an open ground somewhere.
I only have Dolbly Pro-Logic, but I've turned all the options on and off trying to get a better sound. I guess I want 5.1 (though evidently it's not working here for our station).

Bruce is still da man. I wish he would have done a different song from that CD, but oh well. Sounds great!

Is that a hairpiece?

Ok, my turn.
Look, it's Silvio with the Boss, the Godfather of New Jersey.
Robin Williams is crazy for talking about 50 cent like that. I didn't know he even knew about that.
Awesome sound, from all directions. Awesome picture, fidelity, colors, contrast. Varied music, performers of all kinds, this is really just a most outstanding show.

And it's free. A few commercials yeah. But it's free. Think about that. This must be America.

Way to go, CBS HDTV.

Snare drum sounds really, for lack of a better word, "mushy". Don't know if the drum itself, how's it's miked, or the acoustics in the room.

Speak for yourself. I own the album and have heard Politik many times over. This was a great rendition of it. Hearing it with the Philharmonic just took it to a new level.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Personal taste, I guess.

That said, great job, CBS, on all fronts (with the small exception of a little dropout which I attribute to me or my local affiliate).

Wow, Springsteen is on and LOUD!

Well, back to the show.

I missed it - what did Robyn say about 50 cent?

Can't someone give Silvio his own mic. I swear I only see him sing when Bruce is using the mic.

Ahh, VanZandt ... Sopronos....E-Street Band
Funny to see him staring at the Boss singing.
Now there are 3 of them fighting over the mic :D
