Spoke a little soon...during No Doubt, some severe motion and apparent compression artifacts from the center camera.

Theres that problem with pixels w/strobes just like we saw in the basketball all-star game

WOW in Chicago !!!
This is how it should always be....thanks CBS.

Yeah, this is a Great Production. Gwen Sounded and Looked Great. I'm really lovin' my equipment now.

Oh and bingo on the smaller CBS eye logo on the screen. Looks much nicer.

Gwen Stefani in high-heeled boots on HD looks great in my book! :)

I am on west coast. And, it seems it won't be live for the west coast as the local TV Guide says it starts at 8pm PST. Is there no way to watch it live on west coast?

Severe digital artifacting going on here too.

5.1 in Chicago (Comcast). Live performances with ambient sounds from the audience sounds excellent in surround.

Bravo to CBS - truly the leaders in HDTV.

...reading your comments ...getting excited... waiting impatiently here on the West Coast...

Looks great here in Atlanta. No 5.1 (but I am not sure that it was supposed to be in DD)

Perfect picture and 5.1 sound out of WJZ in Balitimore

Way to go CBS!

There is a bit of a sync problem in Detroit, but it's on the order of a quarter- to a half-second. Still, it's annoying.
PQ looks really good to me on Dish...The show is great so far, except for some interlacing artifacts, as have been mentioned!

If they can keep up this sound mix for the rest of it, they're set!!

HDTV...enabling us to see male drummers wearing bras...yikes...
Indianapolis has switched back to 2 channel stereo since a reboot of the equipment couldn't correct the multi-second audio/video sync issue. :(

Looks and sounds amazing on WCBS in DC. Thanks CBS!

Great Dolby Digital 5.1 sound and nice PQ from TWC in NYC. The fast motion scenes does start to pixelate but nothing new here. I'm impressed with the sound more than the picture.

St louis lost the 5.1 as well :(

HD, but no 5.1 in Tampa.

Looks great. Sounds okay. :)

I haven't seen any motion artifacts in Dallas so it's likely a local problem.

lots of dropouts in audio...every 90 seconds or so

Finally up in GR...nothing like having to call and remind the engineers to hit the switch!!! Looks outstanding! Norah Jones' performance looked incredible.

My wife says the necklace looks great. Does she sell them? How do we find out more.

Only saw 1 second of motion artifacts earlier in the broadcast; no real issues since on WCBS (using full 19.4Mbps). This is quite possibly the best live HDTV broadcast ever so far...
