6-3 goes live with Instant Doppler Radar!
WRGB has its very own Instant Doppler Radar system. (Most stations use the National Weather Service Doppler) WRGB-DT has set channel 6-3 to be a continuous live feed of the Doppler Radar Imagery.
BTW, due to the very limited change from frame to frame with the Radar Imagery, 6-3 uses very little bandwidth. (Leaving 6-1 and 6-2 to the majority of the bandwidth) A very cool use of very little of the Data Stream.
