On 4/18/2011, Comcast will launch Antenna TV (WDAF) on
Channel 251 as part of our Basic Digital lineup. All you need
is Basic Cable and a digital converter. We invite you to
preview Antenna TV, on the same channel, beginning 2/13/11.
For information call 1-800-XFINITY.
Also nothing to exicted in new Lineup in April but 667 isn't a Channel we should be having also somebody from needs to take that Lineup and the one on the Box to the Olathe and show them that the one on the Box is different then the one in the Bill.

Does anyone know if TWCKC will add TruTV HD in time for March Madness???
Does anyone else use or know anything about the TVGOS system (TV Guide On Screen,). My somewhat now ancient Sony DHG-HDD250 DVR uses TVGOS for listings, which according to the rabbitears site is supposed to be transmitted in the PBS signal on digital OTA channel 19.1, but hasn't worked in months. When we lost power not too long ago, I finally completely lost the channel grid, which means I have to manually change the channel by typing in 19.1 etc, or the channel up/down buttons.

What does that mean? How do you get a free preview of a channel we already either get or don't get? I don't have cable or satellite.

If you're not a Comcast subscriber, then the message doesn't apply to you.

Ok, just the way it was written didn't make any sense when I tried to read it.

I have one as well (on permanent loan to my sister) Did you do the upgrade to the .21 firmware? (Spiff's Space has the details on that) I upgraded mine around the time of the final DTV transition. Other than the usual quirkyness of the the device she hasn't had any issues with data being received.

Also, you could probably get more help here:Sony DHG-HDD250/500: Official Thread

What they mean is it goes live on that date on Comcast here but get to preview intill them.
Yes, the games will be in HD so on KMCI Comcast customers won't get to see it in HD because they don't offer it in HD yet KMCI.
Their won't be any March madness overflow Channels anymore.
Did you call TWCKC to find out?

Just got off the phone with TWC customer service. The answer is no. Just my luck that the games I am most interested in (including KU) will be relegated to the only network in the mix that I can't get in HD.

Funny how TruTV is part of the Time Warner Family too....

Tweeted at their customer service rep who said they were trying to expedite adding it, however at this point it wasn't looking good.

73-6 is listed as Spike TV on that website... however looking at it on the TV here in the office it is very clearly KMCI-DT. Thanks!

105-38 2 for Comcast Olathe KMCI but only SD not HD yet.

Why didn't you ask about MYKSMOTV HD?
I just was on Surewest Live Chat and asked about ESPN 3 (so you can watch games online, like todays KU vs. OSU basketball game). They said there were no plans to add ESPN3. I also asked about TruTV in HD, and that is also a no go. Then I asked about whole house DVR and they said in July/August timeframe. If enough people bug Surewest about getting ESPN 3 and TruTV HD, in a couple years maybe they will add it, so that in the future we will have access (like TWC/ComCast/AT&T Uverse/and about everyone else).

ESPN3 is on the web. It's ESPN.go.com. You probably have to have a high speed internet connection to get it. But, you can try and see what you get.

The SureWest Twitter Feed said they are in negotiations with ESPN about adding ESPN 3. They also said they're working to get Tru TV HD added before the tournament, but it appears that obstacles on Turner's end are making it hard.

http://twitter.com/#!/SureWestTweets

From SureWest Facebook Page:

SureWest Communications: We're currently in talks to get ESPN3. We should begin offering it in the next couple months, hopefully sooner.

SureWest is also adding NFL RedZone for next season... if we have a season.

Your internet provider must have a contract with ESPN for you to be able to access it. SureWest does not have the rights to it at this time.

Will KCTV 5.2 be turned on for NCAA Tournament this year?

Probably not, since all of the NCAA games will be shown in its entirety on CBS, TNT, TBS and TruTV.....
KSMO HD will be added to SureWest "Within The Next 60 Days" via SureWest Twitter.
Good to know know we where and if they are going to add the Metro Sports Channels,Metro Weather and allow the others here to add HSTV,ZAPITTV and so on.
I just wish Comcast Olathe/Mo either had a Facebook or Twitter page because Chating with them Online or Talking to them on Phone doesn't fix Lineup problems here in Olathe.
AT&T U-Verse might add Metro Sports Networks and it''s in direct competitors with TWCKC.
http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun...062#sidebyside not here yet only change is that Comcast has moved Locals to 105.
Metro Sports and Metro Weather most likely will never end up on SureWest because SureWest and Time Warner are direct competitors. Metro Networks are a selling point for TWC over SureWest.

KCTV5 does mention a 5.2 on their tourney schedules. I can't post URL's yet. just do a google search for kctv5 ncaa tournament schedules.

I'm at work. I'll play around with it tonight to see if its been added to Surewest's lineup.

First KU game on Friday looks to be on TBS anyway, for those interested.

Hi, we anticipate launching the hd feed within the next 30-45 days MYKSMOTV HD SO Comcast needs to come and say the same thong for KMCI HD,KSHB HD ON 808.

Bright House is going to add it (Tru TV HD) tonight right out of the blue on all but the Panhandle system.

It is does, Tru TV HD goes wide out of the gate.
Tru tv hd will launch in 30-45 days. Thank you for your patience

http://www.timewarnercable.com/Media...11-KCBWRad.pdf 312 Metro Sports (Alt Feed) 1340 MAV TV HD but SD version it. Only local's left on Aaalog side.

@Turnksu We will be adding the hd feed permanently within 30-45 days, thank you for you patience for True TV HD. http://www.tvpredictions.com/tru031611.htm Includes Cox in Kansas.

I thought this was the last word on TWC and TruTV. Glad I looked yesterday, it is on. All games in HD! Sure, on TWC its not the best HD around, but beats SD by a mile.
My TruTV on u-Verse looks like... any other other HD sports programming on u-Verse: like an internet feed, maybe a little worse. Any motion makes the players look fuzzy. How's it look on Surewest / TWC, or is it even there yet?

I just officially placed the order to head back to Surewest. I'm getting all the cable channels and HD I want, HBO, 2 HD DVRs, 8mbps internet, and unlimited local/long distance telephone with caller ID for just $125 a month (including taxes and fees) for a solid year. Way cheaper than u-Verse, and I'm finally gonna get some good quality HD again!

Plus, the 2 HD-DVRs can sort of be used as a whole-home DVR solution (if I record the same shows on each box), and I'll get a total of 4 tuners without sacrificing video quality.
SureWest is adding TruTV HD next month, along with KSMO HD. They will also have NFL RedZone if/when we have another NFL season.
