Kansas City, MO - HDTV - Page 292

n addition, from time to time we make certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers. On or after April 17, Signature View On Demand will be added to channel 480. MLB Strike Zone HD was added to the Sports Pass package on channel 1343 and will not be accessible on CableCARD-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Products purchased at retail without additional, two-way capable equipment. On May 28, Planet Green will be renamed Destination America.

Many of you have been asking for an update on the launches of HBO GO and ESPN3, and we have promised to give an update as soon as we knew. As we've stated before, these delays have been tied to prolonged technical delays between us and our vendors. While we still hope to launch ESPN3 soon, we learned today that HBO GO will not be launching in the near future. We hope to have more details near the end of this year as we continue to work on getting this program launched.

We know this is not the update fans of HBO GO were hoping for, and we are sorry we do not have better news. We hope that the superior products and customer service we offer will outweigh the ability to offer HBO GO at this time. We truly value each of you and know we would not be in business without our customers.

Some weird stuff with HBO Go.

I have Comcast and I can get it on my iPhone, iPad but they block access on my Roku box, and another other way to connect to HBO Go besides web browser.

I wonder if we can extrapolate from this that Verizon has no near future plans to offer FiOS in the Kansas City area.

http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun...lineup_8298852 and because all Comcast boxes have different Channels meaning at back end we should keep up to date on Lineup to.

If anybody is interested, SureWest said they are looking at adding KTWU in HD in 2013 to the lineup. I'm not sure if that includes just the 11.1 HD channel, or the other 2 sub channels. KTWU is the PBS station from Topeka.

I've talked to KTWU in the past, and they said they were interesting in providing their station in HD to SureWest.

Comcast to then because it's also on KS Side.

Effective 5/15/12 BabyFirst Americas, channel 690 will be
added to the Digital Preferred tier. BabyFirst Americas
offers Latino parents the ability to help their children
integrate in American society, while maintaining a strong
connection to their Latino heritage and bilingual
communication.
925 Olathe is know FSNMidwest Plus and Channel listing for shows no Cardinals Games but still could show their Games so maybe other Regional Sports Networks are coming soon and 189 is still called PIN but has the Comcast screen on it know.
Also Fancast has the Updated to date Lineup for 66062 including 996 as Local Content and 990 Security Community Information and FSNMIDWEST Plus.

Cardinals regional broadcasts are not available in the Kansas City Market due to MLB Blackout Rules. The Fox Sports Midwest Plus channel is for overflow programming during Royals games such as Blue's Hockey and some College Football.
If you look at it's schedule no Royals Games and different at 6am to 7am Dan Patrick's Radio Show and it's here to stay because if wasn't Fancast wouldn't show it in their listings and lots of Comcast have extra Channels of like in New Jersey also MGS2 and yes we will get at some time NESH/MSG/Yes Network and so on in bith SD/HD.

Or when cards and royals games are on at the same time.

It's on 24/7 because S. Dish can pick it up so I guess Comcast want to in Olathe don't know about MO side because they still have Local Access Channel om 925. Were to have one on 996 Local Content but no channel name yet and not authorized to watch.
Also BabysFirst Americas will be on 125 when they move or getting of that HD On Demand Channel because a city in PA is getting they also on 125 http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r271...ed-on-May-Bill

I predicted we get like NESN/Yes Network,Sun Sports and so on Comcast before next Year and TWCKC the ones it doesn't have yet.
169 TMC in the future for Comcast Olathe.

Watch ESPN is now available for Comcast subscribers. It will work on the website (www.watchespn.com or www.xfinitytv.com) and on IOS devices. No support for Android yet.

Thanks so ESPN Buzzer Beater/Goalline not far behind and maybe HD Channels in 1000.
What SD Channel should Comcast add next here?
A few things you can check out on the "What's New" channel: 0, 600 or 900. Also hoping to launch additional HD content soon.
179 is where baby went to not 690.

As I predicted earlier, WDAF is getting knocked off Suddenlink Cable in St. Joseph on June 2nd to make room for the new St. Joseph LPTV FOX Station.

This LPTV has no rights. I'm putting up an antenna so I don't have to watch this crap.

So I don't have to endure the NPG crap, how the heck do I pull this off? I can barely get KQTV..

Now as far as my Directv setup is concerned, the Tribune guide data is missing 4-2, 38-2 and 62-2. Big issue here is how far do I want to go with this? I'm definitely not interested in NPG's crap offerings.

And who at Tribune (or the individual stations) do I complain to?

AT@T U-Verse is also available in St. Joesph and maybe keep FOX4KC along with new one.

Not where I am. All I can get is Uverse Internet.
If you have DirecTV you will continue to get your FOX programming from WDAF.

As for program guide, as a general rule start with the local stations themselves. I'm getting the guide date for those stations on my Windows Media Center machine, which gets its guide data from Tribune... so it might be your provider.

On or after June 27, ESPN Deportes HD will be added to channel 833 in the Nuestra Tele package and will require two-way capable digital cable ready equipment, such as a Time Warner Cable-provided set-top box or a CableCARD-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Product (UDCP) used in conjunction with a Tuning Adapter. Other UDCPs may not be able to access these services without additional equipment, such as a set-top box.
Same for other S. Dish Companies to.

Has anyone who receives KSMO with an antenna that watches them from greater than 55 miles away from Kansas City noticed a signal loss in strength in the last 2 weeks?
I have in central Topeka and this is my only problem channel from KC lately. KSMO has normally comes in fair to good for me historically at my home.

More bad news for FOX 4 WDAF fans in St. Joseph:

KNPN also will replace WDAF on satellite provider DISH Network and in a month DIRECTV.

legally they have to. Dish can only give a customer an out of market station if there is no network affiliate there. Dish "uplinked" KNPN a week ago (basically making a slot holder for it) so when it gets turned on Dish will give the subs that

Directv can still carry WDAF until they carry KNPN (which says in a month). Could Directv do significantly viewed for WDAF? Sure they could. But they only do that in extreme cases.

But at the Lake of Ozarks on Charter 2 sets of Local Channels but S. Dish only one set.
To people with Antenna are you watching Live Well Network,Bounce TV and ones that Topeka get that KC doesn't have yet?

I live about 50 miles East of Kansas City, and I haven't noticed a signal difference at all on KSMO. I hope that helps.
