The support number on the back of the HD100 manual is the one to call. I don't have it handy as I took my HD100 back. Be prepared for a bit of voice-menu hell, but stick with it, they need to hear as many reports as possible to really take this seriously.
I've been through the process, and made it up to 3rd level tech support. The word is that the bugs will be addressed by a firmware update delivered via DirecTV satellite, but that no date is available as to when that will be.
