installation problem  

Help,

I am planning to install a digital projector in my den. The problem I am having is that I have a fan located in a bad location. The blades of the fan are 11 inches from the ceiling, and the projector would be placed within the radius of the fan.
Question- Could I place the projector above the fan blades, between 5 and 10" from the ceiling.
Question 2- Using the opposite wall.
If the projector were behind the fan approximately 5', how low would I have to place the projector to miss the fan blades which are 11" from the ceiling, 5' behind the fan, and 12' from the screen. The ceiling is 8'. Is there a possible configuration for this without moving the fan, and getting the picture to project about 6" from the ceiling.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not an option for me. I guess if I can't make this work, my project is off, thanks for the help.
