Bidger, WETM said that there was damage to some fiber in the Athens, PA area due to flooding which caused their HD feed to go down. Analog was out for a bit this week too. They ended up streaming the feed from a computer. There were times when it would freeze and you could see the media player come up and a mouse would move and they would press play.
I'm assuming the local affiliate in Binghamton had the same problem. As of tonight, their HD feed still is not up, I'm assuming they still can't repair the fiber at this point in Athens. They are just passing SD content on the HD channel.
And just FYI, apparently you could have streamed the game from NBC's website and could have connected via HDMI if you had that available to get a good feed to your TV.
