I ran a TVfool report and if I am reading it correctly it seems that I should be able to pull in all the major affiliates (CBS, FOX, NBC) in HD now. Am I correct in this thinking? If so, can anyone suggest an antenna? I'd like to be able to mount something in the attic but am not adverse to doing a rooftop mount instead if it would give me things like PBS and/or a better all around signal.

As mentioned above, you would be able to now get KCPQ 13 in HD. I hadn't updated the scan on my over air tuner, and now, because I get KCPQ VHF just fine, KCPQ UHFon ch22 also displays as 13-1. The UHF one displays as the next higher channel when you use the channel up button on your remote. I don't think it's a low power signal anymore, comes in great here. Getting +7db from my antenna, and I'm in Federal Way, through the trees with a little 4221, no amp. Also, KZJO shows the same +7db. Seems like ch22 UHF is putting out a lot more power than the stated 15kw on the FCC site.
Hey, no complaints, that's great. Well done guys. Really helps with the antenna setups.
So, again, I would suggest the Channelmaster CM2016 on a small mount pointed in the general direction of downtown. Nice thing with this antenna is you don't have to have it on a big mast sticking way up. It has an end mounting clamp that allows you to hang on the side of your house if you want. Just make sure it has a good clear shot at the city. Aiming won't be real critical.
To help understand KCPQ's lineup, try this
Station Name Displayed Channel Actual Channel
KCPQ Ch13-1 HD Ch13 VHF Gold Mt, near Bremerton
KCPQ Ch13-1 HD Ch22 UHF Capital Hill
KZJO Ch22-1 HD Ch25 UHF Capital Hill
KZJO Ch22-2 SD Ch25 UHF Capital Hill, KCPQ 13 programming in SD (standard def)
KZJO Ch22-3 SD Ch25 UHF Capital Hill, AntTV programming in SD
Thanks KCPQ for making reception easier for all !
