Guess we could blame the time change, or maybe sun spot cycle 24.
Local Fort Wayne stations got weekend problems from something.
ABC & NBC appear to be missing Program Title, details and their EPG.
CBS seems to have the clock stuck in DST. Talk about equal opportunity for problems . . .

Check it again Jim. We have to manually change it over on our multiplexers. It should be good now.

Still having issues with DirecTV's feeds of 33 (mainly) and 34. Video freezing on "live" TV, audio is fine. DVR recorded TV is the opposite, video is flawless and audio is glitchy. Issue is limited to only a few model number receivers HR24, H24, and H25.

This is the exact issue we were experiencing in early September with WPTA feeds over DirecTV.

Are you still in touch with DirecTV?

Good Luck!!

Well, those NTSC bars on 15.2 will be gone soon.
AntennaTV has announced WANE will be adding their program content effective on 12/26.
The content includes 60s - 80s shows like: Adam 12, All in the family, The Nanny,
Dragnet and Maude. Their website is antenna.tv to see what else.
Good addition.

Boy, I've been waiting for this announcement! WANE really hit the ball "out of the park" in making this decision! Now, if we could get Me-TV on one of the other subchannels (such as that utterly awful Channel 55), we'd be in as good a shape as Chicagoans with regard to TV choice.

this is awesome news! it also will broadcast some cubs and white sox games!!

Antenna TV only shows classic sitcoms & movies. If any sportscasts are shown on 15.2, then WANE-TV will pre-empt Antenna TV programming for the sportscasts. They just have to be careful about how much they pre-empt Antenna TV programming. Too much of it could cause WANE-TV to lose their affiliation. They can understand if another station might own the rights to a certain show, & must replace it with something else. Pre-empting too much of the schedule just to show something else might not go too well with Tribune. Weigel Broadcast (owners of MeTV & This TV with MGM) has turned down affiliates because some potential affiliates wanted to pre-empt too much of the programming, just to fill certain hours (overnight hours especially) with infomercials, & neither network carry infomercials. MeTV & This TV must keep most of the schedule intact. Antenna TV, MeTV, & This TV in Chicago all have the full schedule intact, because the respective owners of the networks carry them on their stations (Tribune's Antenna TV on WGN-TV 9.2 & Weigel Broadcasting with This TV on WCIU 26.5 & MeTV on both WWME-LD 23.1 & WCIU 26.3).

I didn't know that Antenna TV broadcasts include some Cubs and White Sox. Is that true everywhere they have Antenna TV?

Something going haywire with 33-1 last few minutes during the Buble special.

I'm not privy to the particulars of the contract, but the baseball games were part of it. I don't know if its available to all Antenna TV stations or not, but it seems like a good fit given our proximity to Chicago.

We are almost all done wiring it up and looking forward to some testing of the stream shortly.

Unless your station worked out a deal with Tribune Company on airing certain sportscasts on the subchannel, then it's not part of the Antenna TV broadcast. Those sportscasts will come from the WGN-TV side instead. In Chicago, if WGN-TV can't air one of the sportscasts that they have the rights to (usually due to CW programming commitments), then they have WCIU (Weigel Broadcasting) show it instead, & usually on the HD channel. Since WCIU is independent, they're free to air whatever they want on WCIU 26.1 & 26.2 (U Too). Since Weigel in Chicago is completely independent on the main channel & 1 subchannel, they don't need to interrupt the network feeds of MeTV, This TV (both they program themselves), or interrupt Bounce (the only network they don't program themselves), though Bounce is on WWME-LD 23.2, & not on WCIU. They have MeToo, but that's only for Chicago.

Not trying to debate you on what channel does what. I just know that there will be several baseball games available to us that will air on that channel. Who it comes from or why from my desk doesn't matter. As long as its on the air thats all I worry about.

Can't wait to lose the color bars. We finished up the wiring needed here today and have been watching offline. Excited to see the product launch in a few weeks.

It took you people long enough to pick something decent to air. I do enjoy watching Me-Tv but antenna tv is a great choice . Thanks for considering children who watch television and need something more than ear buds plugged into their heads and violent video games into their little peepers. This brings back the days of our RCA 21 inch color roundie tv set. Which is still working. And the aroma of warm vacuum tubes in a real wood cabinet. Thanks again channel 15 for that flash back.

Seems like PBS is having issues this afternoon- lots of dropped audio frames and video breakup.

Anyone else? Or is it just my equipment?

Final program testing was done on Antenna TV today. You may have even noticed it was on the air a while today if you were channel surfing. The launch for this service is 5 AM on December 26th!

Thanks so much to WANE for adding Antenna TV. This is where 90% of my TV viewing will be! If there's anyone on here from WANE, please forward my thanks for putting nostalgia TV and great classic movies on to Fort Wayne TV.

Now, if 55 would add another station like Me-TV, I would re-program 55 into my TV -- right now, there's absolutely NOTHING (including their crappy newscast) on 55 worth watching.

Again, thanks to WANE for having the foresight to put on appealling programming for baby-boomers (enjoying Dennis the Menace right now)!

My wife and I finished watching Father Knows best. Did not even notice it was a B/w program. When it was over she said that was refreshing. You call it antenna- t.v. Were going to call it refreshing t.v. Thanks again for wholesome clean television shows.

Hey I have Direct TV with over the air antenna feed into HR-21. When I rescan my local on air TV stations, it will not pick up the new 15-2 station. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks MMike
post #4102 of 4210
MMike. The channel will not appear until it's registered with the Tribune (?) guide company. D* boxes do not scan for available channels but enable the channels when they appear in the guide provider's database.

I will pass along the reviews of Antenna TV to those who decide such matters. Glad to see it getting some good early reviews.
Its still a work in progress so bear with us as we iron out the final kinks. We lost the sat signal for a while down in Indy due to the weather today and still are working on our local backup system here.

Hey thanks Tom for the info. I hope they get 15-2 registered quickly, so it will show up on Direct TV local station guide. MMike

My wife and I are also enjoying Antenna TV! Any chance the listings will show up on TV Guide On Screen any time soon?

The 33 video glitches are back on DirecTV. Emailed INC, no response yet. This is getting really frustrating.

DirecTV has been contacted again. They are aware of the issue.

Something with their RF system at their receive site.
DirecTV has said that they have corrected the issue as of today.
