HiPix Remote help

Thread Starter
I cannot get my HiPix remote to work it appears to conflicting with my Airboard. I have tried running the Airboard on Com 1 and HiPix on Com 2 and vise versa. The Airboard will not work at all on the PS2 port. With the Airboard connected and the HiPix the HiPix remote does not work at all.

If this is not possible has anyone found a simple method of controlling the HiPix app from a keyboard? I have seen posts on this subject using Girder however this solution looks to complicated for a novice like myself. I downloaded Girder and installed it just to see an overwhelming interface.

System:

CUSL2-C Motherboard
I G PIII
HiPix 2.2
W2k sp2 beta

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Kerry

No go but I am not completely sure I did what you were suggesting. Can you give me any more details?

BIOS Wake on PS2 KB/PS2 Mouse/CIR = Disabled (This was the default setting)

Motherboard Keyboard Power Up jumper set to Disable = 2 3

BIOS 1006.a

Thanks,
Kerry

I have both the airboard (plugged into the PS2 ports) and the HiPix working on my system (also a CUSL2). I believe that the reason it works for me is that I have removed the motherboards "wake on keyboard" jumper, and disabled that feature.
