I thought I'd kick off a new thread and see if I can find some interesting movies.
So here's the question: What movies did you watch in your home theater this week and would you recommend them?
Here's my list:
Friday: The Life Of David Gale
Saturday (double feature night!): Mr Mom & The Bourne Identity
All are recommended. The kids had never seen Mr. Mom and we all enjoyed it. This was the free DVD that Pizza Hut was giving away and be warned, it was "Standard" or full screen. But free's hard to beat and the picture quality was fine.
The Life Of David Gale was well done. I can say little about it without blowing the story. Worth seeing.
I really liked The Bourne Identity. We saw it last year in the theaters and were pleasantly surprised. It is very high energy and a well done spy flick. Best Buy had it for $17.99 in a 2 pack with "Spy Games", which was also better than expected.
So what was showing at your theater the first weekend of August?

. Anyway, John Travolta is a great actor and is probably the only one who could pull it off. I liked it and was pleasantly surprised with the ending.
