Replay reboots trying to play show from DVArchive

Hello!
I am new to DVArchive, but I got it all working easily.
I downloaded a show to my PC, no problem.

When I go to the Replay unit, I can select the show that DVArchive has, and when I execute the command to play the show (stream it from the PC), I get a pause and then the "Please Wait..." message, then the Replay unit reboots.

I haven't found this problem mentioned anywhere else here, so I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Thanks!

My 5060 does this every once in a while. Normally after it reboots I am able to stream the show from DVArchive without any problems.

Some people have reported when switching to different show (also on DVA),
play a local show first, then the reboot won't happen.

Soundls like a slwo connection. If the replay doesn't get the data in the time it needs it's been known to reboot.

Sounds like you are using a wireless LAN or LAN that's not switched or has bad cables. Any of those could be problems. What transfer rate do you get on the PC for DVArchive? This question needs you to set the max transfer speed to 0 and try to move a show from replay to PC. 5k transfer speeds max out around 1.2MB/s

I've had isolated shows where this has happened. When it does, I can't even play the show through VLC so I have assumed somewhere between the ReplayTV and DVArchive, something has corrupted.

sfhub is most likely correct. Other people have reported the same problem. Somewhere, there is another thread about this.

If you're streaming from DVA, the first show usually works. To play a different show, first switch back to the local RTV and play something from it. Then go back to DVA and play the next show.

My Replay sometimes hangs while doing a CA. I usually play a different show on the local RTV and then go back to DVA. Sometimes it plays and sometimes it causes the RTV to reboot. When I turn CA off it does much better and I use Quick Skip to get through the commercials but that can cause the RTV to freeze also.
