DAE ripping speeds?

I'm looking to purchase a DVD drive and one of the features I'm interested in is the speed with which it will extract data from an audio CD. My current CD-RW drive (4x2x24x) extracts audio at around 8x. I would like my new drive to achieve at least twice that. This is so I can quickly extract and convert CDs to MP3 and then burn them onto CD-R to play in a car/portable player.

Could people please post their DVD drive model and rip speed?

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks to Alex's link, I've been able to make a quick decision - I'm purchasing a Lite-On 16x48x drive, that has a ripping speed of 37x! It comes second place in all the drives tested for ripping, loosing out to a non-DVD drive. It also comes in 2nd place in DVD read speed to a drive with a poor ripping speed. So an excellent compromise.

You can buy one from Dabs for £57
