Radeon VE DD 32mbDDR and Mits WS65857 good for HTPC??

I currently have this gear and was wondering if they would make a better HTPC combination. The DVD output on my PC is smooth and clean. I currently view DVDs on my Mits with a Toshiba SD6200. Would I gain anything making the switch?

Thanks!

If you already have this gear, you can easily configure your PC using Powerstrip to output HDTV resolution to your Mits and find out for yourself. I would say the improvement of DVD PQ is there, to what extend is everyones' own opinion. I happen to think it was worth the money to buy an HTPC to replace my Toshiba5109, for added DVD playback quality and other functions such as HDTV recording and playback via AccessDTV.

You must however be prepared to spend a lot of time and sometimes frustrations tweaking the PC to your liking and be able to live with some software bugs and inconvenience.
