Anybody use XM PCR with a VFD or a LCD to display artist and song title?

I am not sure if I should have posted this in the HTPC forum or in this one. What I would like to do is ad XM PCR to my HTPC and have a VFD or LCD screen display channel info, artist name, and song title. Is there anyone doing this right now? Could you give me some pointers on where to start.
