My receiver has true L/R lfe. But I run my dual subs as one signal through the SMS-1. Would trying to run two SMS-1 to EQ each sub defeat the purpose of trying to correct dips and nulls?
Rob, I have another question. I have new subs coming. And I will be running quad Cap S2's. I want to use the SMS-1 but being that it only has 3 lfe outs. Can I use a "y" splitter on one of the outs to make four?
Running two SMS-1s may solve some problems if you have particularly odd nodes to deal with at one or both subwoofer locations, however the readings you get wont take into account the second subwoofer. So as long as you are not trying to maintain stereo separation in the subwoofers, I would use just one SMS-1.
There is no problem using a y-splitter on one of the SMS-1 outputs to feed a fourth subwoofer.
