Parkland/Do-able Locations Thread

It seems to me that posting different locations that do/don't have Parkland and Do-Able products would be a good idea. If anyone thinks it a good idea, please add your locales.

I tried to locate the Parkland Poly-wall product at my local Lowe's and Home Depot in the far west end of Richmond, VA. Apparently neither had it and they checked their district inventory and no one in the district has carried it.

Rick in plumbing at the Short Pump Lowe's is interested in carrying it... he's going to talk to his manager. If you live in Richmond and are interested in getting this item at roughly $16/sheet and don't have to pay shipping, then please give them a call and ask for it - that might help sway the manager's mind on whether or not to carry the item in their normal inventory.

I'm going to go back and check to see if they have the Do-able tomorrow.

Home Depot east doesn't carry Parkland PLAS-TEX.
Saw 1/8" Do-Able (white vinyl veneer on pressed board) at Home Depot east. Did not note price.

Menard's east carries Parkland PLAS-TEX for $12.88 per 4x8 sheet.
Did not look for Do-Able.

How about any locations in the southeast? I've looked at Lowe's and Home Depot here in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area and can't find any...

Think I may just end up going with MDF and painting it.

Thanks for any replies!

I'm in triad and just picked up two polly-wall (724-05) sheets from the LOWE'S in Greensboro they have plenty. Depending on where you stay in Durham should only be an hour drive at the most.

NC43,

Thanks for the info!!! This will work out well for me as I'll be driving through Greensboro next Monday/Tuesday. I'll go ahead and plan a stop at the Lowe's that you referred me to.

Thanks again!

I picked mine up about 3 months ago at the LOWES in Staunton, VA, right off of I-81.
They had about 50 sheets then, but they did stock it.

My efforts to find this material in the San Francisco bay area were fruitless.

Menards in Schereville, Indiana (about 35 miles south of Chicago) has Parkland but I did not note the price. I may pick up a sheet so that I can take my PJ to friends houses for parties etc...

Jacket... I am currently painting some MDF. The first coat really sucks up the paint. First coat used an entire quart of Kilz2. Second coat used less than half of that amount.

I just posted that to make sure that you bought enough primer and wouldn't have to make a second trip to get more as I did.

Yes, there is actually Parkland Plastic in the Dallas area. I just found some in the building material section of the Lowe's in Plano on I-75. I didn't see any at Home Depot.

Than you to whoever posted about the plastex in austell. I went to the Lowes at barrett parkway and off of Dallas highway and the did not carry them. But this lowes was just 20 min. down the road and there, lowe and behold, was the plastex screen. Just $14.00 got me the screen. Thanks again

Parkland found at Home Depot on S. Hanley Rd. in Brentwood.
$13.88 - computer says 72 sheets
(I saw at least 30 on the skid and bought one.)

Do-Able in computer as available at Home Depots on S. Kingshighway in St. Louis city and S. Lindbergh in South County.
$17.49 for 3/16" only so far, nobody seems to have 1/4".

They all say that the 1/4" SKU I got here is invalid (174-278).
(I'll check out S. Kinghighway today, and probably take the Parkland back.)

I've called most of the Hd in the Seattle area and was told that they were clearanced awhile ago, and wouldn't be able to get me any. I can't find do-able either. I had to bite the bullet and order from parkland.

Thanks,
I was not able to find the Doable at Menards. I didn't actually go there though, just called on the phone. So I purchased a like product from the HD in Grandville.
