Rightnow the only live game I have is Rainbow six 3. Started a "clan" a couple of weeks ago. We suck... But it sure is fun. Thinking about buying ghost recon, now that it is cheap.

I've got quite a few non live games. I already play R63 too much, if I had more live games to play, I'd be in trouble.

32, married. Wife has night class Mon, Tue, Thursday, and reserves one weekend a month. So I get to play pretty often.

Dean, cool, I just got an Xbox for Christmas and I just got Live last week, so tonight or tomorrow I will be adding a bunch of friend requests to my list. By the way I'm 30, married with a 2 year old and 1 on the way.

Slarsky, my wife and any of my friends that see me with my headset on, make fun of me.

I have a couple of kids myself. That second one is going to cut back on the game time. Kids are great though. I have the Madcatz earpeice so I don't look like I'm a telemarketer.

going to be playing Splinter Cell PT.

My gamertag was digital predator until my younger brother lost my headset and control adapter. Now that I'm out of the house I got a new XBL account and hence the new ID. I'm not cocky (hell I'm not even that good) but it seems that every possible name was taken.

Playing Splinter Cell on the account FCONE. (my 1year sub and bonus 4 months on old account finally expired!)

Also Rainbow 6, enjoy Bomber run Unreal (but it seems nobody else does)

I am a 59 year old CPA with 8 grandkids so you guys sound very young to me! This fall I finished my basement complete with 61 Sammy DLP, Axiom speakers Denon receiver and DVD, then on a whim I bought the X Box for the Grandkids mostly but I have always liked computer games too. I fooled around the games that came with it - Clone Wars and Brute Force and wasn't too impressed. Then a couple of months ago I bought PGR 2 and became instantly addicted, I don't know how many hours I've played but I am almost though with the single player game. Until I found this forum I would have never considered Live since I assumed it was populated with 13 year old kids, but now I am reconsidering. My question is, am I good enough to give you guys any competition.
In PGR2 I can win at the silver level, a few golds and some bronze medals. That's pretty much it, I don't think I am going to get much better. So what do y'all think, anyone interested in playing a old greaser with diminished skills?

dmuir - when you start playing against other people, it pretty much forces you to get better real quick. so even if you arent decent competition to begin with, you'll get there. besides, when playing online, i personally never really care if i win, it's all about the interaction with friends.

moral: Xbox Live is hella cool, and worth the additional cost.

Avoid weekends and holidays and you'll never run into little kids.
