Although I'm not sure it helps you, considering it sounds like your movie tastes aren't mainstream, if you're into DVD's, check out
www.netflix.com which offers DVD rentals sent to you and returned from you via mail. They allow you (if you wish) to rate movies and they can offer up ideas based on those ratings of what you might enjoy.
