Need some advice, well i bought a LG LST-3100A off of E-bay, and still no CBS, but I can now get CBS over QAM through Charter, cool, heres where i need some advice, I don't want to pay for analog tv no more, just not worth it, but I'm afraid that if Charter comes out and puts that filter on to block out expanded basic cable that it will also filter out the QAM signals, does anyone have any thought on wether or not it will, going to keep the basic package for 12.95. Also talked to Charter about the 12.95 local package and the HD pack, and yes you can do that, but you cant get the ESPN's or TNT, she said all I would get is CBS and NBC and Universal HD, so another question, is Universal HD channel any good? Do they show good movies, is it worth the 9.95 I would have to pay for the cable box and package? If I were to go that route probaly would add Showtime HD for 5.00 she said it cost for showtime, 13.95 for HBO HD and 13.95 for Cinemax HD. And when can we get ABC HD now too, cant belive its 2006 and we can only get two HD channels up here, 3 soon, talked to PBS and there aiming for this summer, they have one more hurdle to work out.
