OK, I have decided that instead of just constantly complaining about Charter HD I am going to make an attempt to do something about it

First of all, let me state that when I have a problem with a Charter HD channel I do not just automatically assume its a Charter problem..Before I assume anything I contact other people that I know and verify that they are having the same problem..
Currently the problems I see and that I have verified with at least a half dozen other Charter HD subs are:
1. CBS HD constantly macroblocking/pixelating during demanding sequences. When I say demanding sequences Im talking about fast motion scenes, scene transitions, explosions, brightly lit scenes, and worst of all, for every sporting event anytime the camera pans in close and theres even the slightest bit of motion the screen breaks up into blocks (macroblocking)..
This problem occurs on every set Ive ever watched WWTV HD (CBS) on..And its been happening for well over a year now! This problem does not occur on Atlantas CBS HD that I get thru Dish Network..This problem is unquestionably a Charter engineering issue..
2. The other problem is FOXHD...The channel is having video breakups every couple minutes or so..Very slight, but very annoying..I have seen this on one other HDTV besides my own, and I have talked to about 6 other people that see the problem..Again, this is positively a Charter engineering issue..
Charter has had many other engineering issues in this area over the last year also, and all they ever want to do is send out a truck roll to your house to fix a problem that is absolutely not at my house..
What I have done is left some voicemails at our local Charter office in their engineering department. That # is (231) 947-5221 (ext. 6)..There are 3 different voicemails linked to the Engineering extension, I left voicemails for the first 2 names..
Also, I have dug up the email address of our local Charter VP/GM..That email address is:
joe.boullion@chartercom.com
I have emailed this person and basically just explained the fact that I am tired of truck rolls for Charter engineering issues that arent based in my home..I would like an email address or a phone# where I can contact a local Charter engineer and discuss the problems..
Anyways, Im sure most of you probably arent nearly as adamant as I am about these problems..But, to anyone that feels the same way I do, please take some time and make a phone call or two and maybe fire off an email to the VP/GM..If we make some noise we might get somewhere..We definitely arent going to get anywhere by calling Charter customer service..
