Had if off on Friday for a little while. HD was at 14.5mbps. Also had one of the major cable companies have an issue, so back on for the weekend, we will try again this week.

So I looked at WBRA this morning and while the data for 15-2 is still being consumed and the PSIP is still there, I note the PMT is missing. For a lot of people, I'm guessing that means 15-2 is already gone.

That is correct. Getting the PSIP info removed and have established 14.5 Mbps for 15.1(HD).

Any chance of having more than 12 hrs PSIP - it is really hard to schedule my recorder at 7 am when I can not see 8 pm.
Ch 10 27 and ION have 24 hours. It would really help after loosing 7 days with TVOS,
Thanks ,
Bernieoc with DTVPAL DVR over the air only

I am working on it. According to our PSIP generator 24 hrs are showing on the screen, so I assumed it was sending it out. Not yet though, so I will continue working on it.

We are using the Trevini Guidebuilder for the PSIP and Protrack is what we use to traffic information.

I get my Roanoke stations with OTA module on dish network satellite receiver pretty cool you can scan locals then dvr them. I Have 2 antennas one pointed toward North Carolina hooked to Hdtv. The other to OTA module the only way I've found to get HDTV reception in HD from 2 antennas. If you don't have satellite no help.

What's up with the picture on WSET today? Looking at the noon news and it looks like the picture came from a dot matrix printer! Especially noticeable on the 13 logo.

If they have a Harris NetVx HD encoder, the encoder card is dying.

I watched the 7:00 PM News on 13 last night. Everything looked fine.

I have turned on the NBA game tonight and the picture has the moiré effect. Looks terrible. I have also found that WSLS for sports is almost unwatchable due to pixilation.
What size screen and how far away are you? When I get close to the screen watching channel 13 I noticed what you're talking about. I wonder if they're transmitting a 16 by 9 SD picture tonight.

10. 1 is definitely a bit starved. It affect all programs not just sports the current program The Voice doesn't look too good either . If I understand correctly when the Richmond NBC station added a .3 they did away with the .2 program.

I am watching on a 106 inch screen with an Epson 5020ub projector. Sitting about 12 feet away.

Yeah with that system you probably see all the imperfections. SD must look pretty poor.
Yeah pixilation on Wsls is real bad on Sunday night football .So bad I turn to WXII.

I get channel 3.8 and 3.9 when TVs are scanned, but no video. Is that real channels or local interference? Thanks

Those are channels that are used for datacasting. Basically sending information other than video and audio. They are embedded into our
signal stream.
