Hi,
I've purchased a new sub yesterday and unlike my old one this one comes with speaker level connections. I've hooked it up using the high level speaker connections and passed the high level to my main speakers. Should I be using the subwoofer out? The reason I set it up this way is because my reciever has a fixed crossover at 90hz and I wanted to use the crossover on the sub to set a lower crossover. I'm assuming my receiver will pass everything below 90hz to the sub including the LFE.
My gear is:
Yamaha 630 Receiver
PSB 5i Sub
Athena F2 Mains
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Greg
