I am really finding it difficult to get more information regarding LG. Aside from ONE dealer swearing up & down that this is the best machine I can buy in this price range (within a $1000-2000 window), I have nothing else!

I wish there was more information! Please let me know if I am missing something.

I have the same question. My local A/V store (only one in town) is going to get some of these in his store soon. I have searched this forum and the web and have found little (if anything) recent and informative. Does anyone out there have opinions or information about quality etc of recent models of LG plasmas?

LG owns the Zenith brand. There is a long thread on the Zenith P42W46X plasma here . Also see this thread.

LG plamas manufactured in 2004 (serial # starts with a 4) have a 2 year warranty. Zenith plasmas have a 1 year warranty.

Thanks. I have read all of the posts in that thread and it looks favorable. I assume that most of this also applies to the LG. It will be interesting to see them when they are here in Laramie Wyoming. I have subscribed to both of the threads so I do not miss anything in the future. Thanks again. I am continually amazed at the help that the folks on this forum provide.:D
