Hi Paul ,
Well it looks like your are fairing better than I am.
I went to there office on Amherst St, in Nashua and argued my point to no avail , I questioned several times that just because they change the names of service that that was no reason to downgrade my service.
They said things change , yeah , I guess they do.
Lost the first battle , but the war is far from over.
I also spoke with the Media Coordinator in Merrimack and he is going to see what he can do , but stated " there is not really much I can do , but I will try ".
I see no difference in "Triple-play" with Starz as opposed to same package with HBO , but they said it`s different , and I went on to explain that Starz and HBO are the same price so I did not see the difference.
I was told " there is a difference because it`s different" I replied even though they are the same price > reply > "yes" .
So as you can tell we kept going around and around , so I politely terminated the conversation and thanked her for her time and left the building.
Comcast is nasty and unfair and they know it , and they also know that there is no competition to keep them honest , we need Verizon back and there Fios and there internet and TV service , but we both know that is not going to happen now that Fairpoint is firmly rooter in Merrimack.
Right now = a cooling off period , I `ll see what happens later ( nothing unless I give them more of my money ) , but the war is not over , just lost the first battle.
But I look at this and say to myself , Gary you should not have to fight wars and battles for the right thing , you must stand up for what you believe is right or else all will be lost.
I don`t like to lose.
Take care and all my best to you , thanks for the reply
O__BTW , no I have not heard how good Tivo is , but right now I have way to many eggs in the frying pan ( or duck in the pond or what ever = busy )
