TitanTV is one of the services to which we send our program schedule. I really don't know if it's FTP or not. There is more than one guide service; TV Guide is the only one I can think of right now (other than Tribune).
The consumer version of a free online TV guide is at http://www.titantv.com
I use it all the time since TV Guide magazine has turned itself into a waste of a tree. http://www.TVGuide.com
takes too long to load, so I never go there.
We use a different section of titantv to populate our EPG automatically. Since our EPG showed Larry's tribute at 6:30PM, then the correct data is "out there somewhere".
We send the data to titantv and then we pay them to collect the same data? Is it just me, or is there something wrong with this picture?
