My TV is showing a speaker icon (which I've never seen before). Is this my set recognizing there's no video???

Sounds like it. After listening some more it sounded like outdoors sporting programming from a network called "Pursuit" .

As an aside, there are channels that are audio only. for instance there is a sub in the Charlotte area that is audio only. In this case, Pursuit has video, but WAVY has apparently chosen to carry audio only before Bounce starts.

I haven't seen or heard anything on Bounce, only one of my three TVs even scanned it in (channel 10.2). So far, for me, it's just a black screen with no audio.

Mark... I asked Occasio (who's with Cox) on the local Cox Thread if they are going to carry the net? Do you have any word?

BounceTV is ready to go for DirecTV viewers with a H20, HR20 or AM21 receiver on 10-2 at noon...

Why are fast motion scenes during sports on WAVY look SOOOOOO bad??? I'm thinking it's the network...

Sports on channel 10 usually have pixellization during fast motion (I use Cox). None of the other channels are as bad. Could very well be the network.

I'm watching OTA...

^ I was watching OTA as well and also noticed the pixelation on WAVY last night. I noticed it as well on both Fox and CBS football earlier in the day but WAVY was definitely worse.

We have no need for the NOMAD but I could see how it could benefit some people. I do use DIRECTV2PC a lot...

I've been testing it and it is nice! (No where near FiOS, though)

OK at 6:26... did it fix itself?
After like 7 min I believe D* fixed it.
The pic was frozen at first so I reset the box. When the box came back on there was a message. "We are aware of an issue with this station etc" then I flipped back after like 3min and ut was back

Is anyone else having issues with WAVY on OTA? Channel 10.1 went out yesterday and has not been on since. I thought it might have been from my adding a splitter to the cable but all the other channels are coming in fine.

Hmm. Did you get an amplified indoor antenna? Your issue could be overloading. Post a TVFool report and tell us what antenna you bought and we can offer better advice.

98% signal strength here in Sono with an amplified indoor antenna.

I moved the antenna to a different part of the room and now it comes in. Odd. On the left side of the room I did 5 scanns and it didn't come in. I moved the tv now it comes in

EM/Interference
OTA is great when the signal is clear, but oh so frustrating when it isn't and there are so many things that can affect the signal.

I agree. Seeing the pics I see another looming problem. It's so low to the floor I think you'll have problems when someone walks or stands between the antenna and the tower. If you have that problem try getting it up closer to the ceiling.
