Ok, I'll change the subject. I finished up the entrance to the equipment room (aka the garage) last night. Let me know what you guys think.
Say, is that a gray and white igloo? I think I have that exact same igloo... sorry, couldn't help it and I know it is getting old...

That garage is a little too neat for me (but very well done). Hope you don't ever want to sell the house to someone not from Texas...
That's a pretty sweet HT setup you got there.

Why does your blue bike lack handlebars? That's gotta be a pain to ride.

I just wonder what the other sides look like, or can you even see the other walls?? Where do you keep the chicken coops?? I'm pretty sure where you are keeping the lamb right now!!
Sell the house to someone not from Texas?? Blasphemy!!

Believe me, that picture was a one time thing. There's a big pile of "to be put in the attic" stuff to the right. I'm waiting for Dave to come over and store it. I'm also sure that whoever moves in can convert the flag to a Puerto Rican or US one. They're just lucky I did the star instead of an aTm.

That's my wife's Mongoose that I've been building out of spare parts for about four years. I sure am glad she is patient

How many chickens do I need to kill because I'm not having much luck with the signal right now.
Same here... but I normally dont start getting signal till the sun goes down.

Not looking good right now, but it looks like the signal has improved over the last thirty minutes (from around 20% to 40%). Maybe it will be viewable a little later. I have a call in to Sanderson Farms.
That's what I'm figuring. Well, at least we might get the later innings in HD.

I'm finally at least getting something, but it can't lock on at all.

Looks like that last chicken did the trick.

The frogs were getting nervous, but they are safe for now!

I had Chick-fil-A for lunch. Maybe it's finally working.
I even had a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's for the effort.
I haven't much luck the last 30 minutes. I may just call it a night and switch over to SD.
Yeah, I'm getting occasional breakups, but except for one blackout that lasted about a minute about 30 minutes ago nothing major.
Overall it was pretty spotty till about 30 mins ago.... Now is pretty much pegged at 90%

Looks really good PQ wise.... now we just need to get kyle to upgrade, I want my NFL in HD come fall.
Just tuned back in a bit ago and things are working better again. I kept myself busy by playing some NCAA 2005.

It got kind of spotty in the middle, but overall it was good for me as far as Fox from Houston goes. As for KYLE, I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm counting on the Sunday ticket, and I'm clueless as far as blackouts go.

How are the Ags this year?

Sunday Ticket brother! At least half the NFL games in HD. I used to never think I would pay that money, but once you've got it, it is tough to go back.

Not too bad. Courtney Lewis and Terence Murphy are badass. The only thing I'm bummed about is that the highest resolution is 480p.

I was going to ask the same thing. Did you win the MNC Dave?
I stopped after Clemson. I think I logged about 6 hours on it yesterday. This should hold me over until the season starts. Hopefully we'll get to see the opener in HD.

If espn gets the opener in HD, Ill have to accelerate my VOOM plans
post #354 of 6497
You don't get ESPN-HD right now?

The most recent listing is August 27th, so we're getting closer to knowing.

You beat me to it Dave. So close I can smell the fresh cut grass.

Actually, they have now named the USC/VATech game on Sat. 28th as HD.

Keep in mind, they did their Sat. night games in HD last year, but none of their Thursday night games. I'm hoping that changes...

I thought they did at least one Thursday night game in HD. It was a Miami game. I know it was on the HD schedule last year.
They must have just updated after I posted. That game should be fun to watch.
Maybe so, but I don't remember it. I just remember being frustrated that the Thursday night games were not HD. It didn't make sense to me that they couldn't do that.

On a side note - do any of you guys attend boards/forums on A&M athletics? (recruiting, general happenings) If so, which are the best ones?

Does anyone know why this track coach (phenomenally successful) from LSU would come here? Are we paying him ungodly amounts of money or what?

www.texags.com

I haven't been following the track story other than the fact he is coming. I know Dollar Bill is into the competition for best overall athletic year for all sports (Sears trophy?).
