it appears WETV in murfreesboro will stay analog... i dont see the CP for digital now and an email from them said in a terse manner that all they do is repeat the audio form WGNS anyway.. Their big $FINE$ for not airing e/i programming must have left a bad taste. Yes, they are a -CA which is required to... shame.. could be another station for antenna or me-tv...

also, does w11bd act as a translator for the full power in lebanon? is it on air?

They won't stay analog for long. The FCC has a Sept 1, 2015 shut down date for all LP analogs.

They show the SAME forcast in several hours loops. I'm not sure if it's 6 hours or 8 hours or what but in reality they only have a few new forcasts in a day. No sense in see the SAME thing 100 times over. Do you have a smartphone? They have weather apps. Also there is this great website called WEATHER.com. WBBJ did the smart thing and changed out their weather radar to CBS programming. WKRN would be better served using that subchannel for something else.

Bounce claims it's on WLLC 42.2. I'm not close enough to Nashville to get that in to verify.

So far as I know, WLLC-LP doesn't even have a construction permit to go digital.

So much for Antanna TV or METV request in Nashville. Looks like even more talk TV headed to Music City. What will become of Weather X on 2.2?

Eight Young Broadcasting stations have agreed to affiliate with ABC's Live Well Network, with the rollout starting Jan. 30.

WKRN Nashville, WRIC Richmond, WTEN Albany, WATE Knoxville, WBAY Green Bay, KELO Sioux Falls, WLNS Lansing and KLFY Lafayette (La.) bring the Live Well Network's overall market clearance to more than 58% of U.S. television households.

"The Live Well Network is a great new programming choice, providing our viewers with top-notch original series about today's most popular lifestyle topics," said Deb McDermott, president of Young, "all conveniently available on a single channel."

Live Well, created by the ABC owned stations, airs on those outlets, as well as others belonging to Belo, Scripps and Allbritton, among other groups.

"As the Live Well Network's momentum continues full steam ahead in 2012, we're especially pleased to welcome these eight Young Broadcasting stations to our affiliate lineup," said Peggy Allen, VP of programming at Live Well. "We look forward to working with each of these new affiliates to bring their audiences TV's best lifestyle-focused programming."

So you're surprised that an ABC station is going to broadcast ABC owned Live Well? Has to be better than watching the same weather loops 24/7. WSMV and WZTV still don't use any subchannels if either thinks that AntennaTV or MeTV can bring in extra revenues they'll do a deal with them.

I received an email today from Live Well Network that says "We hope to have the Live Well Network broadcasting on WKRN's 2-3 within the next couple of weeks but we don't have a confirmed date at this time."

Question:

Does WUXP broadcast the SEC basketball games OTA in HD?

My dad’s dishNet feed for the game is in SD; was just wondering whether dishNet was just being stingy with the bandwidth or whether WUXP simply didn’t air the game in HD.

whew! I was getting worried about rtn have been unable to receive the signal for the last couple of days. This evening the signal looks to be slightly stronger than usual. I have been getting Evansville for the last few hours the better rtn signal may just skip taking place

Anything new on when WTVF will changeover to their new UHF channel? It has been a good while now since they got appproval.
All 5 channels of WPGD 50 have been dark for 3 days now. It always runs at 100% on my TV. Anyone know what's going on?
Yep. I was in town for NRB and went up to see WRTN-LD. Got there in time to find the TBN engineer on site. Not sure how much I'm allowed to say, so I'll just say he has quite a mess to clean up...

So can you tell me anything about WRTN or if 50 will be coming back at all?
Nothing much to say about WRTN-LD. 50 will be returning but extensive cleanup and repairs are required.

Thanks...still waiting for RTN to go to 17!!!!!
When is WTVF going to 25? They basically beg the FCC to quickly approve the move to 25 then don't do **** when they get the approval. So what was the hurry then?
what happened.. did i miss something? extensive repairs? I've about given up hope of ever getting WRTN in La Vergne...
WPGD went off the air last Tuesday. Extensive repairs were/are necessary.

Does WLLC-LP broadcast at all? I have not been able to pick up their analog signal in a long time.
Too bad antennatv isn't received in Nashville.....they just advertised WKRP to start April the 8th.

They have an ok lineup I am picking it up out of Huntsville

I still wish rtn would(could) boost power so I could get a steadier signal most of the time it is in the 60 to 70 percent range and then blamo nothing, usually right in the middle of a good show.

I just looked to see if there were any rtv affiliates in Alabama and it showed 11.1 huntsville as I recall channel 11 was a low power analog station it must have went to low powered digital can't receive it
post #3059 of 3518
given up hope long ago about receiving WRTN in La Vergne. At first I could pick them up good when they first signed on with a low band VHF antenna inside meant for outside, then freezing and audio skipping consyantly then nothing. Cant get it inside or outside even mounted on roof. Something must have happened to their 300 watt transmitter or antenna... WLLC is NOT on the air in any way...
WIIW at last check was black screen on analog have not checked lately...
