As I posted before, I live off of Hwy 25 and 471 in the Reservoir area.
I have finished installing a Radio Shack VU-90XR antenna in my attic and I'm getting all of the digital stations now.
This is my third antenna to use. The first was an indoor RCA amplified rabbit ears set, second was a small outdoor directional VHF/UHF antenna that I had put up in the attic, and finally the VU-90XR.
On the RCA indoor I was able to get 12.1, 16.1 20.1, 20.2 12.1 was in and out .
With the second antenna, I was able to get all of the above plus NBC 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 steady at about 80%. 35.1 and 40.1 were picked up by channel scan but were not viewable with a signal strength between 0-20%. 12.1 was still in and out just a bit.
The VU-90XR, which is 3X the size of the previous antenna, gets 35.1 and 40.1 steady but at about 40-50% on a nice clear day. The rest of the stations are coming in between 80%-90%. 12.1 is coming in much better as well.
I'm also using two DIPLEXER's (one in the attic and the other at the TV) to run the antenna signal to my TV along with the E* satellite signal.
Needless to say, I am very happy with the picture quality of my 42" Sammy and all I watch now is HD programming. I can't wait until every station is available in HD.
