Sorry, they go REALLY fast so I was hoping to let the members know before CC sold out again.
I NEVER got an email notification from CC so don't count on that. I even called and talkd to a person to make sure I was on the email list - still never got an email notification.
CC gets small batches in nearly every day it seems so you have to be quick.
Here are the 2 tricks everyone is doing to get one from CC and they ARE the number one supplier these days.
1) I checked their website every morning when I got up to get ready for work at 5:30 EDT. They seem to update the inventory overnight but, like today, sometimes during the day.
2) Get some friends and you to subscribe to the CC notification thread in TIVO community. When someone posts in there and your email goes off, make the call to your friends and vice versa.
Only works of course with an always on net connection like I have.
I set my spam program up to ring a special tone when it saw the message coming from the that one thread in the TIVO community.
I got mine by doing #1 but I still have 4 friends left that have not gotten theirs yet so I also do #2. Called one just before I posted the above message and he snagged one.
PITA but trust me, it is worth it. I love this thing:)
BTW, once I sold my POS DISH 921, it took me exactly 1 1/2 weeks before I got an HD TIVO ordered from CC using my technique above.
I know of people that have been on wait lists for MONTHS.
