I heard that! I'm just about ready to jump into HDTV through Comcast (just in time for the NFL season- GO EAGLES!) and I just got the e-mail that the 6208s are now available in my area. I really like my ReplayTV 5040 but I'll get used to the 6208 real quicklike! It looks like the two pioneers of dvr technology, (ReplayTV and Tivo) may not make it to see the promised land, concerning their profits, in the long run.

You can always keep your Replay for SD timeshifts, and use the 6208 just for HD...

Lucky!

I'm strongly considering doing that. I'll just split the signal into (3) outputs:

1. 6208 (later to the 6412)
2. ReplayTV 5040
3. Pioneer 510 dvd recorder (for archiving standard def programming).

Soon to come...JVC 40000 (for archiving high def sports).

If this Moxio comes to my area, then that will change things.
