It's really not that hard. I believe this is what you tried to post

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...85f57c1%26t%3d

Your channel 31 is not I the same direction as the others so if you have the antenna pointed at them then you won't get in 31 as well as you could. I'm assuming you want ABC, NBC, CBS etc etc. Your channel 31 is about 75 degrees off from the others. Try pointing the antenna due north and see how that works. Might be the best compromise you can get. I still say you don't need the amp. If you could hook up the antenna with having to use it would probably help.

As far as getting it in better at night, well of course. I have station that only come in at night. Nightime will generally be better for reception

anybody seeing some analog action on RF 4, 5, and maybe 6 this evening? I'm seeing something Spanish on 5, but can't ID it... driving home from downtown Orlando, there was a strong presence on 87.7 FM (mono, not stereo)... not sure if that was the Miami station kicking in, or if it was a very powerful pirate, or what, but that was a tipoff to check analog lo-band....

Is there anything new on Telemundo going HD over the Air?

I never watch it but a lot of markets have this and we still do not.

Thanks!
No, but the new mundofox network Orlando affiliate will most likely be an O&O on WRBW. They are running lots of promos en espanol on the main channel 65.1
post #3159 of 3264
Do you think it will be in HD?

BHN will probably pick it up on the day of launch.

Anyone know why WKCF has been off the air last couple of days?

Transmitter went south about noon, yesterday. Storm is suspected. No idea when it'll be back up.

Apparently they don't have a backup plan to use a WESH sub channel 2.3 to restore OTA delivery and feed providers like comcast, dish, directv, centurylink. I find it interesting that there is no mention on WESH news, the WKCF website, or their cw18tv facebook page, I guess if they don't publicize it then advertisers won't know that only BHN viewers are seeing them.

Advertisers won't care. Inside the ad community, OTA viewers are perceived to be poor. The reasoning: if a person cannot afford cable, then he doesn't have a lot of disposable income. If he doesn't have disposable income, then advertisers have no desire to reach him. So, losing OTA viewers doesn't impact advertisers, according to that perception.

Plus, as you say, why tell an advertiser something that'll make him demand a make-good? Especially if he can't tell on his own there's anything wrong.

SOP most places, I'm afraid.

SD WKCF CW18 programming lineup is now on 2.3 via RF 11 for OTA viewers who are willing to do a rescan and to feed providers like OTA reliant dish/directv/comcast/CL Prism. It's unfortunate it took almost 24 hrs to make this happen, Complete lack of an info campaign nothing from WESH 2 news on air to inform viewers, no banner on wesh.com, no posts on their facebook/twitter posts, not one scroll on air 2.1. I just wonder if either presidential campaign ad team was aware?

18.1 is now back and 2.3 has been removed.

According to a press release, the rights to MundoFox in Orlando are held by Central Broadcasting (who owns Azteca America affiliate W21AU, not sure if they are dumping that or adding MundoFox as a subchannel), perhaps it since it is low power it would be retransmitted on 65.2
post #3167 of 3264
While WKCF was off the air for two days I had the unique ability to see W21AU for the first time ever, they were running 21.1 AZA W21, 21.3 TELEROM black screen, 21.4 blank info with black screen, there was no 21.2.

WRBW continues to run mundofox promos wall to wall during there programming.

With RF 17 turned off I also was receiving for first time ever 32.1 W32DJ-E, 32.2 3ABN-PR, 32.3 3ABN-ES, 32.4 3ABN-RD, 32.5 Radio74, All five channels were black screen.

Fox TV Stations group announced a deal to partner with Accuweather last week where some of their O&Os including WOFL, WOGX, and WTVT Tampa were included. Some of you may remember ABC 28 from Tampa used to carry an Accuweather sub channel that was viewable in western and southern parts of the Orlando market. It seems that the deal for Fox stations seams like they will provide an Accuweather sub channel on these stations since it talks about having a live feed to viewers, unless they mean online viewers. Doesn't state when they expect to do any of this though, just says starting in summer.

I'll look forward to seeing this. I miss the Accuweather channel. It was way better than the annoying WTSP weather channel.

Hard to believe, but Channel 6 WKMG's news is now finally in HD. I just read about it online but hadn't noticed it. Supposedly it happened quietly back on 6/04.

They'd been broadcasting their news in a 16:9 SD format for years,

I think they started a week or two ago.

It eliminates a HD black eye for this market.

Now, If Telemundo could get an OTA HD channel here up, we would be all set.

Finally some news about WMFE, almost a year after they terminated their affiliation with PBS and 15 months since their april fools day 2011 joke now WMFE plans to sell to UCF.

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2012/06/wmfe-to-sell-channel-24-license-equipment-to-ucf.html

One good thing will have hopefully come from all this, WBCC will still retain the HD capability from when they upgraded last year.

Can anyone on here see W21AU, and if so, what's airing on it?

FYI both directv and dish have now removed W21AU from their satellite delivered locals lineup.
As I reported here back on 5/25 W21AU is still on the air and tonight saw them again still running 21.1 AZA W21 (azteca america programming with audio which skips back and forth between the left and right channels), and 21.4 TELEROM (black screen) which was on 21.3 before.

Getting 88% instead of the usual 100%, maybe they are at reduced power because of TX problems .

Using an Antenna Craft HBU33 in the attic with a Channel Master CM7777 amp along with a CM3418 Distribution Amplifier. I can't put the antenna outside due to restrictions. Should I change location in attic?

Yesterday I came home and found my HR10-250 (direct TV HD DVR with OTA) very unhappy with WKMG 6.1. (Same for 6.2). Audio plays fine but the video pauses / jumps every 1/4 of a second. 2.1, 9.1, and 35.1 play perfectly fine. Signal strength on the HR10-250 shows a solid 95. I cycled power on the box and no change.

I went to a TV connected to the same antenna and it was perfectly happy with 6.1. Tuner card in the PC is happy too. With that I can see a solid SNR and nearly zero recoverable errors.

Anyone else notice anything with WKMG in the last couple of days?

Thanks

Guess I am flying solo on this one? Issue still exists for me on 6.1 and 6.2.
